Qbic Hotels is a revolutionary new concept in the hospitality market. The first hotel in London opened to great acclaim, what followed was an urgent need to build a brand that reflected the vision and values of Qbic as it geared up for a fast paced expansion.
With new investors and a renowned chairman who wanted to see the brand develop further, we were tasked to manage the entire project from brief to rollout.
Qbic already had serious eco credentials, a dedicated army of guests and an alternative approach to design, we just needed a brand to drive the change Qbic aspired to create.
Working together, Rebecca and Ragged Edge created a brand strategy, architecture, visual & verbal identity and guest experience loved by all
Branding | Project Management | Creative Direction | Multi-platform Application of Brand
The Qbic graphic system is inspired by the hotel’s physical layout, and the coming together of different people and ideas. Made up of playful blobs and textures, a colourful, adaptable and characterful brand. Eccentric yet attractive.
We built a strategic platform that could live in every part of the experience, internally and externally. An idea that took Qbic’s desire to do good, and amplified it into something bigger and more emotional. So while budget hotels treat guests like room numbers, Qbic welcomes character.
