The Brief

With the 15 year anniversary issue looming, the team behind The Rake wanted a best in class, editorial first solution to their digital platform and eCommerce capabilities that matched their expectations for design and classic elegance.

Our Approach

In order to meet a very tight timeline, Distil conducted an in depth Competitor Analysis and various Creative Workshops with the Digital Content, eCcommerce and Publishing teams.
We then embarked on an intense phased design process that allowed time for buy in from the CEO, and development to happen alongside design.

The Outcome

The final result was a new look website with improved UX and immersive editorial shopping experiences at its core, all in time for the 15 year launch party!
